He is Senior Lecturer, Department Environment, Faculty of Engineering, Sahid University Jakarta, Indonesia. He graduated (1986) in mathematic statistic from Bogor Agricultural University, Master (1999) in Computer Science and PhD (2004) in Environmental Modeling. After finishing his Doctoral Program, many research have been done especially in environment management and agriculture fields, more than 35 topics research have been carried out which is financed by national or international donor. He is also a speaker in national and international scientific meeting in the field environmental management and disaster, and sustainable tourism. He has More than 85 scientific published papers both in national and international Journal, 6 scientific books. He is also a reviewer in several national and international journals. During his 35 years as a lecturer, he has held many positions, starting from the head of the department, Head of the Center for Tourism Studies, Head of Research center and public services, Director of Postgraduate schools and lastly since August 2019, he has been nominated as a Rector of Sahid University. In addition, he currently leads several scientific institutions such as the Indonesian System Center, the Indonesian Professional Organization Forum, members of the International scientific and technical Research Association, and Indonesian Environmental Experts Association.
